Easy Dosa Recipe for Beginners

Dosa ek famous South Indian dish hai, jo chawal aur urad dal ke aate se banti hai, aur use sunehre rang mein crispy pakaya jata hai. Step-by-step guide ke saath, aapko yeh mazedar dosa ghar par aasani se bana sakte hain.


Ingredients


1. 1 cup safed chawal (raw rice)

2. 1/4 cup urad dal (split black gram)

3. 1/4 cup poha (flattened rice)

4. 1/4 chammach methi dana (fenugreek seeds)

5. Namak swaad anusar

6. Paani bhigone aur peesne ke liye

7. Khana banane ke tel


Method - Step by Step:


Step- 1. Chawal, urad dal, aur methi dana ko ache se dho kar, 4-5 ghante ke liye paani mein bhigo dein.


Step- 4. Alag se, poha ko 2 ghante tak paani mein bhigone dein.


Step- 3.  ke baad, chawal, dal, aur methi dana ka paani alag karke, rakh dein.


Step- 4. Mixer mein bhigoye hue chawal, dal, methi dana, aur poha ko mila kar peesa jaye, taa ki aapko ek smooth batter mil jaye. Usmein thoda sa paani daal kar sahi consistency tak peesna hai.


Step- 5. Batter ko ek bade bartan mein daal kar namak milayein. Achi tarah mila kar, use raat bhar (lagbhag 8-10 ghante) ya jab tak woh volume mein double na ho jaye, ferment hone ke liye chod dein.


Step- 6. Jab batter ache se ferment ho jaye, dheere dheere usko hilayein. Agar zyada thick lag raha hai toh, thoda sa paani mila kar consistency adjust kar sakte hain.


Step- 7. Dosa tawa ko medium aanch par garam karein. Tawa par thoda sa paani chidak kar check karein, agar sizzle ho raha hai toh tawa tayyar hai dosa banane ke liye.


Step- 8. Ek katori se batter tawa ke beech mein daalein. Katori ki pichki madad se, circular motion mein batter ko spread karein, aur ek patla, barabar layer bana lein.


Step- 9. Dosa ke kinare par aur upar se tel daal dein. Tab tak pakayein, jab tak dosa ki bottom sundar aur crispy na ho jaye.


Step- 10. Dosa ko palat kar dusri taraf se bhi 1-2 minute tak pakayein, jab tak woh halka bhura na ho jaye.


Step- 11. Dosa ko garama-garam coconut chutney, sambar ya apne pasandeeda side dish ke saath serve karein.


Tips:


● Crispier dosa ke liye, tawa ko acchi tarah garam karein, phir hi batter daalein.


● Fermentation swaad aur texture ke liye zaroori hai, isliye batter ko ache se ferment hone dein.


● Agar batter spread karne mein mushkil ho, toh batter mein thoda sa paani mila kar mix karein, phir agli dosa banayein.


● Aap dosa ko spicier banana chahte hain toh, batter mein kata hua hari mirch ya lal mirch powder daal sakte hain.
